Defect
The accelerator stopper section of the driver's seat floor mat is insufficiently thick. Repeated full-stroke accelerator pedal operation causes the lower end of the pedal to contact and eventually wear through the stopper section, creating a hole in the floor mat. In the worst case, the accelerator pedal may become caught in the hole, preventing engine speed from decreasing.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the floor mat with a corrected part.

状況
運転者席フロアマットにおいて、アクセルストッパ部の厚みが薄いため、アクセルペダルの全開操作を繰り返し行うと、ペダル下端部が当該ストッパ部と干渉し、フロアマットに穴があく場合がある。そのため、最悪の場合、アクセルペダルが穴に引っかかり、エンジン回転が下がらなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フロアマットを対策品と交換する。
