Defect
In the vacuum pump of the brake booster, the valve spring seat on certain units is improperly assembled. Continued use allows reverse airflow at engine shutdown to displace the valve spring seat. In the worst case, the valve ceases to operate, causing brake pedal effort to increase beyond normal levels.
Corrective action
Replace the vacuum pump on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
ブレーキ倍力装置のバキュームポンプにおいて、バルブスプリングシートの組付けに不適 切なものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、原動機停止時の空気の逆流により、 当該バルブスプリングシートがずれて、最悪の場合、バルブが作動しなくなり、ブレーキ ペダルの踏力が通常より重くなる。
改善措置
全車両、当該バキュームポンプを対策品と交換する。
