Defect
The quarter window glass molding at the rear of the rear door is improperly designed at its mounting structure. Repeated thermal cycling causes the mounting area to deteriorate and peel away, producing lifting and abnormal noise. In the worst case, the molding detaches from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the quarter window glass with a corrected part.

状況
後席ドア後部のクォータウィンドウガラスのモールディングにおいて、取付構造が不適切なため、冷熱の繰返しで取付部が劣化して剥がれることがある。そのため、浮きや異音が発生し、最悪の場合、モールディングが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クォータウィンドウガラスを対策品と交換する。
