Defect
On shovel loaders, the method used to verify EGR mounting bolt torque is inadequate, resulting in some bolts being insufficiently tightened. The loose bolts allow foreign matter to be drawn in through the resulting gap, damaging the engine. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, retighten the EGR mounting bolts to the specified torque.

状況
ショベル・ローダにおいて、EGRを固定するボルトの締付トルクの確認方法が不適切なため、締付トルクが不足しているものがある。 そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ボルトが緩み隙間から異物を吸い込むことで原動機が破損し、最悪の場合走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、EGRを固定するボルトを規定のトルクで締付ける。
