Defect
The weld joints on the overhead guard, a structural component of the electric forklift frame, have insufficient strength due to inadequate design review. Repeated operations that apply high loads to these joints may cause cracking at the welds. Continued use in this condition may cause the welds to fracture, and overhead guard components may detach.
Corrective action

状況
電動式フォークリフトの車枠(フレーム)の構成部品であるヘッドガードの溶接部において、設計検討が不十分なため、強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、当該部位への入力が大きい作業を繰り返し行うと、当該溶接部に亀裂が発生し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると破断に至り、ヘッドガードの部品が脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ヘッドガードの当該部品を取り外し、対策品を再溶接する。
