Defect
In the pop-up hood electrical wiring, the bumper harness connector terminal arrangement is incorrect, causing the pedestrian collision detection sensor input values to be computed incorrectly. As a result, the pop-up hood may not deploy properly during a pedestrian collision and, in the worst case, the vehicle may fail to meet pedestrian head protection standards in the event of a collision.
Corrective action
Replace the bumper harness with one having the correct terminal arrangement.

状況
ポップアップフードの電気配線において、バンパーハーネスのコネクタ端子配列が不適切なため、歩行者衝突検知センサの入力値が正しく演算されない。そのため、歩行者との衝突時にポップアップフードが正常に作動しない場合があり、最悪の場合、歩行者との衝突時に歩行者頭部保護の基準を満足しないおそれがある。
改善措置
正しい端子配列のバンパーハーネスに交換する。
