Defect
The front brake master cylinder diaphragm contains an additive in its raw material that is not suitable for contact with brake fluid. The additive leaches into the brake fluid and causes the seal to swell, which may block the hydraulic pressure-regulating passage and leave it obstructed. Under certain conditions this increases brake lever free play and, in the worst case, stopping distance is extended.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the diaphragm and front brake master cylinder body set with corrected/revised parts.

改善措置
全車両、ダイヤフラム、およびフロントブレーキマスタシリンダボデーセットを対策品と交換する。
