Defect
During brake pipe assembly, the flare nuts securing the brake pipes to the ABS unit were not tightened to the specified torque. Continued use may allow the nuts to loosen, causing brake fluid to leak and extending stopping distance.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the affected flare nuts will be retightened to the specified torque. If brake fluid is already leaking, the fluid level will be inspected and replenished to the specified amount as necessary.

状況
ブレーキの配管において、ABSユニットにブレーキパイプを締結するフレアナットの締付作業が不適切なため、当該ナットの締付トルクが不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、当該ナットが緩んでブレーキ液が漏れ、制動距離が伸びるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該フレアナットを正規のトルクで締付ける。なお、ブレーキ液が漏れている場合は、ブレーキ液量を点検し、不足していればブレーキ液を規定量まで補充する。
