Defect
A manufacturing condition variation in the rear tires causes the rubber layer between the internal belt and carcass to be thinner than specified. This allows the belt and carcass to separate, producing cracks and deformation in the tread area and generating abnormal vibration. Continued use can cause the tread to detach, impairing vehicle stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the rear tires with corrected parts.

状況
リヤタイヤにおいて、製造時のバラツキで、内部のベルトとカーカス間のゴムが薄くなるものがある。そのため、内部のベルトとカーカスが剥離し、トレッド部に亀裂や変形が生じることで異常振動が発生し、そのまま使用を続けると最悪の場合、トレッド部が剥離して走行安定性を損なうおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、リヤタイヤを対策品と交換する。
