Defect
On vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, the ignition timing control software in the engine control computer is incorrect. When the throttle is fully closed and the clutch lever is held with a narrow grip span, ignition timing may retard excessively. This causes engine speed to drop and may result in an engine stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine control computer with the corrected/updated software.

状況
手動変速機を搭載した車両において、エンジン制御コンピュータの点火時期制御プログラムが不適切なため、スロットル全閉でクラッチレバーを握る際の握り幅が小さい状態を保持すると、点火時期が遅れることがある。そのため、エンジン回転数が低下し、エンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジン制御コンピュータを対策プログラムに書き換える。
