Defect
In the navigation system, high processing load during startup prevents the display from rendering video properly. If the vehicle is shifted into reverse immediately after the system starts, the camera image may temporarily cut out. When this occurs, the driver cannot see the area directly behind and to the left of the vehicle, and the system may fail to conform to Safety Standards Article 44 (standards for mirrors and rearward visibility devices).
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the navigation system control software to corrected specifications to prevent camera image interruption.

状況
ナビゲーションシステムにおいて、起動中の負荷が大きくなると画面処理が適切に行われないため、システム起動直後に車両を後退させると、一時的にカメラ映像が途切れる場合がある。その場合、直前直左が視認できず、保安基準第44条(後写鏡等の基準)に適合しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、カメラ映像が途切れないよう、ナビゲーションシステムの制御プログラムを対策仕様に書き替える。
