Defect
During final inspection of designated-type light trucks, the brake testing equipment used lacked sufficient measurement accuracy. As a result, brake compliance with the Road Vehicles Safety Standards may not have been properly confirmed.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, a vehicle inspector at a designated facility will conduct a re-inspection of brake stopping force. Any non-conformance with the Road Vehicles Safety Standards identified during re-inspection will be corrected.

状況
型式指定小型トラックの完成検査において、ブレーキ検査機器の測定精度が不適切なため、道路運送車両の保安基準にかかるブレーキの適合性の確認が適切に行われていなかったおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、指定工場にて自動車検査員によるブレーキ制動力に関する再検査を行い、道路運送車両の保安基準にかかる不具合が認められた場合は是正する。
