Defect
A fault in the hybrid system control software causes the system to fail to enter fail-safe mode when the transaxle input damper experiences momentary slippage during hard acceleration and the warning light illuminates. As a result, the hybrid system may shut down.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the hybrid vehicle control computer with the corrected software.

状況
ハイブリッドシステムにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、急加速等でトランスアクスルのインプットダンパに一時的な滑りが生じて警告灯が点灯した際、フェールセーフモードに移行できない。そのため、ハイブリッドシステムが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ハイブリッドビークルコントロールコンピュータのプログラムを対策仕様に修正する。
