Defect
On large and medium trucks and buses, the parking brake warning lamp switch is improperly designed, allowing condensation that forms inside the air lines to prevent the switch from operating correctly. As a result, the parking brake status may not be accurately displayed even after the parking brake is released, automatic shifting in Drive range becomes unavailable (manual mode shifting remains possible), and the EZGO hill-start assist and hill holder may become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the parking brake warning lamp switch with a corrected/revised part and relocate it to the updated mounting position.

状況
大型トラック・バスにおいて、駐車ブレーキ警告灯用スイッチが不適切なため、エア配管内に発生する凝縮水によって当該スイッチが正常作動しなくなるものがある。そのため、駐車ブレーキを解除しても、駐車ブレーキの作動状態を正しく表示しない場合があり、Ｄレンジでの自動変速が不能（マニュアルモードでの変速は可能）になると共に、ＥＺＧＯ（坂道発進補助装置）とヒルホルダ等が機能しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、駐車ブレーキ警告灯用スイッチを対策品に交換すると共に、装着位置を変更する。
