Defect
The seal ring specification at the supercharger housing joint is incorrect. Variation in component dimensional accuracy during service may cause the seal to fail at that joint. As a result, exhaust gas may leak from the failed seal area.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the supercharger serial number. Replace units identified as affected with a corrected part. Separate notification will be issued once parts are available.

状況
過給機において、ハウジング接合部のシールリングの設定に不備があり、構成部品の精度ばらつきによっては使用過程においてシール不良に至るものがある。そのため、シール不良部位から排気ガスが漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、過給機の製造番号を確認し、対象のものは対策品と交換する。なお、部品が準備でき次第、部品交換を改めて案内する。
