Defect
On the intercooler piping of turbocharged engines, the clamp force securing the intercooler hose to the intake pipe is insufficient on some units. As a result, the hose cannot withstand intake air pressure and separates from the intake pipe. This may cause black smoke emissions to exceed the Safety Standards limit.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the intercooler hose and intake pipe with corrected parts.

状況
過給器付原動機の吸入空気冷却装置(インタークーラー)の配管において、インタークーラーホースとインテークパイプの締結力が不十分なものがある。そのため、吸入空気圧に耐えられなくなり、インタークーラーホースがインテークパイプから抜け、黒煙排出量が保安基準値を超えるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、インタークーラーホースとインテークパイプを対策品に交換する。
