Defect
The engine control unit contains an incorrect intake air volume control program for idle operation. While the vehicle is stationary in Drive (D range), intake air volume may become insufficient, causing idle speed to drop. In the worst case, the engine may stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine control unit with the corrected/updated software.

状況
エンジンコントローラにおいて、アイドリング時における吸入空気量の制御プログラムが不適切なため、Dレンジで停車中に吸入空気量が不足することがある。そのため、アイドリング回転数が低下し、最悪の場合、エンストに至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジンコントローラの制御プログラムを対策プログラムに書き換える。
