Defect
The engine control unit software for the emissions control system is incorrect, preventing the turbocharger from transmitting diagnostic fault data to the engine control unit. As a result, if the turbocharger fails, the engine warning light will not illuminate.
Corrective action

状況
排出ガス発散防止装置において、エンジン制御コンピュータのプログラムが不適切なため、ターボチャージャから故障診断結果がエンジン制御コンピュータに送信されない状態となっている。そのため、ターボチャージャが故障してもエンジン警告灯が点灯しない。
改善措置
全車両、エンジン制御プログラムを対策仕様に修正する。
