Defect
On van-type refrigerated/freezer trucks, inadequate process control at the joint between the body rail and side panel has left some joints with insufficient strength. Loads experienced during driving may cause cracks to form at the joint, allowing the body rail to detach. In the worst case, the rail may fracture, contact the tire, and render the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add and re-install fixing rivets at the body rail-to-side panel joints and at the interior floor girder sections.

状況
バン型冷蔵冷凍トラックにおいて、ボデーレールとサイドパネルの接合部の施工管理が不適切なため、当該接合部の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、走行時の負荷により接合部に亀裂が生じ、ボデーレールが剥がれ、最悪の場合、破断してタイヤに接触し、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ボデーレールとサイドパネル接合部及び庫内床ガーター部の固定リベットを追加並びに再取り付けを行う。
