Defect
In the combination meter, production equipment used to manufacture components on the meter circuit board is improperly controlled, causing cracks to form inside certain components. During vehicle use, the internal circuit of an affected component may short circuit, causing the speedometer, odometer, and other displays to stop functioning.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the meter circuit board components by serial number; if a vehicle is affected, replace the meter circuit board with a conforming unit.

コンビネーションメータにおいて、メータ基板を構成する素子の生産設備の管理が不適切なため、当該素子内部に亀裂が生じているものがある。そのため、使用過程で素子内部の回路が短絡し、速度計や走行距離計等が表示されなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、メータ基板の素子の製造番号を点検し、該当する場合はメーター基板を良品と交換する。
