Defect
On large wing-body trucks equipped with side skirts, the striker that secures the side skirt at the rear overhang has insufficient strength. Vibration during driving may cause a crack to develop in the striker. Continued use allows the crack to progress until the striker fails. In the worst case, the side skirt may protrude beyond the vehicle's width while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
Replace the striker on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
大型ウィング車のサイドスカート装着車において、リヤオーバーハング部のサイドスカートを固定するストライカーの強度が不足しているため、走行振動等により亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行しストライカーが破損して、最悪の場合、走行中にサイドスカートが車幅から突出するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ストライカーを対策品に交換する。
