Defect
On the engine of large trucks, the attachment structure between the fuel pipe and the fuel hose is improper. Variation during assembly may generate excessive stress in the hose, causing a crack to form. With continued use, repeated fuel pressure cycles propagate the crack until the hose fails and fuel leaks.
Corrective action
Replace the fuel pipe and its mounting bracket on all vehicles with corrected parts.

状況
大型トラックのエンジンにおいて、燃料パイプと燃料ホースの取付け構造が不適切なため、組付け時のばらつき等により当該ホースに過大な応力が発生し、亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、燃料圧力の繰り返し入力により亀裂が進展して当該ホースが破損し、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料パイプ及び当該パイプの取付けブラケットを対策品に交換する。
