Defect
On light trucks, the steering knuckle was improperly manufactured, causing some units to have an incorrectly formed upper link mounting section. This results in insufficient strength at the mounting section. Continued use allows driving vibration to progressively enlarge the inner diameter of the mounting section, producing looseness. In the worst case, vehicle stability may be compromised.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the knuckle with a conforming unit and replace the upper link assembly with a new unit.

状況
小型トラックのかじ取装置において、ナックルの製造が不適切なため、アッパーリンク取付部の形状が正しく成型されていないものがある。そのため、当該取付部の強度が不足し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行振動等により取付部の内径が拡大してがたつきが生じ、最悪の場合、走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ナックルを良品に交換するとともに、アッパーリンク一式を新品に交換する。
