Defect
In the passenger-side dual-stage deployment airbag inflator, inadequate moisture protection of the propellant allows repeated cycles of temperature and humidity variation to degrade the propellant. As a result, the inflator housing may rupture during airbag deployment.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, as a precautionary measure, the affected inflator is replaced with an alternative unit from another supplier.

状況
助手席用二段展開制御式エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、ガス発生剤の吸湿防止が不適切なため、温度および湿度変化の繰り返しによりガス発生剤が劣化することがある。このため、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ容器が破損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、予防的措置として当該インフレータを他社代替品と交換する。
