Defect
On manual transmission vehicles, the gear shift rear shaft may have insufficient strength. Repeated shift operations can cause the gear shift rear shaft to crack. Continued use may result in fracture of the shaft, and in the worst case, gear shifting may become impossible, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the gear shift rear shaft with a corrected part.

状況
マニュアルトランスミッション仕様車において、ギヤシフトリヤシャフトの強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、シフト操作を繰り返すと、ギヤシフトリヤシャフトに亀裂が入り、そのまま使用を続けるとギヤシフトリヤシャフトが折損し、最悪の場合、変速操作ができなくなり走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ギヤシフトリヤシャフトを対策品と交換する。
