Defect
On foot-operated parking brakes, the bracket is improperly manufactured, resulting in an insufficient gap between the bracket and the pawl on some units. This increases resistance between the bracket and pawl during parking brake application. In the worst case, the parking brake may fail to hold.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the manufacturing number of the parking brake pedal. On affected vehicles, replace the pedal with a conforming part.

状況
足踏み式駐車ブレーキにおいて、ブラケットの製造が不適切なため、ブラケットとポールとの隙間が狭いものがある。そのため、駐車ブレーキ操作時にブラケットとポールの抵抗が大きくなり、最悪の場合、駐車ブレーキを保持することが出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、駐車ブレーキペダルの製造番号を確認し、該当する車両は当該ペダルを良品と交換する。
