Defect
On some engines, the intake pipe mounting bolts were not tightened to the specified torque. The bolts may loosen, allowing unmetered air to be drawn in through the gap at the intake pipe mounting point. This may cause an unintended increase in engine speed while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the intake pipe mounting bolt torque. If any bolt is found to be loose, replace the O-ring and retighten the bolt to the specified torque.

状況
原動機において、インテークパイプの取り付けボルトの締め付けトルクが不足しているものがあり、当該ボルトが緩んでインテークパイプ取り付け部の隙間から空気を吸い込むことによって、走行中に意図せずエンジン回転数が上昇するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、インテークパイプ取り付けボルトの締め付けトルクを点検し、ボルトが緩んでいるものについてはOリングを交換し規定トルクで締め付ける。
