Issue
The engine control computer contains an incorrect control program. As a result, carbon deposits accumulate in the combustion chamber. Fragments of these deposits can break off and become lodged between the exhaust or intake valve and its seat. This causes insufficient compression, which may result in engine stall immediately before coming to a stop or difficulty starting the engine.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the engine control computer is replaced with a corrected/revised part.

状況
エンジン制御コンピュータにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、 １．燃焼室にカーボンが堆積し、その一部が剥がれ落ち、排気バルブまたは吸気バルブのシート面に噛み込むことがある。そのため圧縮不足となり、停止直前のエンストやエンジン始動不良となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジン制御コンピュータを対策品と交換する。
