Defect
Due to inadequate manufacturing process controls for the intake duct on the direct-injection turbocharged engine, some ducts were produced using a material that does not conform to specification. Over time in service, these ducts lose oil resistance and heat resistance, allowing cracks to develop. This causes engine malfunction and, in the worst case, may result in engine stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the manufacturing lot number of the intake duct and replace any affected duct with a conforming part.

状況
直噴ターボエンジンの吸気ダクトにおいて、製造管理が不適切なため、正規と異なる材料で製造されたものがある。そのため、使用過程で耐油性能や耐熱性能が低下し、当該ダクトに亀裂が発生してエンジン不調となり、最悪の場合、エンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、吸気ダクトの製造番号を確認し、該当するものは良品と交換する。
