Defect
The inflator in the passenger-side single-stage deployment control airbag is defective. During airbag deployment, the inflator housing may rupture and fragment, causing a vehicle fire or injuring occupants.
Corrective action
Replace the inflator on all vehicles with a new unit. If replacement parts are unavailable, the passenger airbag function will be deactivated and a warning indicating that the airbag is non-operational will be displayed on the passenger-side sun visor.

状況
助手席用一段展開制御式エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ容器が破損して飛び散り、出火したり乗員が負傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該インフレータを新品と交換する。なお、交換用部品が不足した場合は、助手席エアバッグの機能を停止するとともに、助手席サンバイザ部に当該エアバッグが作動しない旨の警告を表示する。
