Issue
On light trucks equipped with driver and front passenger airbags, improper specification values in the manufacturing process and vehicle inspection data records mean that the airbag control unit specification was not verified on some units. As a result, an incorrect-specification control unit may have been installed, in which case the front passenger airbag may not deploy. Additionally, on some units, diagnostic trouble codes recorded in the control unit were not cleared during production.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the specification of the airbag control unit. If an incorrect unit is installed, replace it with the correct part. If the correct unit is confirmed installed, clear any diagnostic trouble codes recorded in the control unit.

状況
運転席と助手席にエアバッグを装着した小型トラックにおいて、製造工程および車両検査項目データの指示値が不適切なため、エアバッグコントロールユニットの仕様確認を行っていないものがある。そのため、誤った仕様のコントロールユニットが装着された場合、助手席エアバッグが機能しないおそれがある。 また、当該コントロールユニットに記録されたダイアグコードが初期化されていないものがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該コントロールユニットの仕様を確認し、誤品が装着されている場合は、正規品に交換する。また、正規品が装着されている場合は、コントロールユニットに記録されたダイアグコードを初期化する。
