Defect
On vehicles without an idling stop system, the engine control computer contains incorrect software. As a result, engine output is not suppressed when the vehicle stability control system activates. Although brake force distribution control continues to operate, vehicle stability may be compromised. (Vehicle stability control detects lateral skidding and drive wheel spin, then automatically suppresses engine output and adjusts brake force distribution to improve stability and reduce wheel spin.)
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the engine control computer software is updated to the corrected/updated software.

改善措置
全車両、当該エンジン制御コンピュータを対策プログラムに修正する。
