Defect
On vehicles without an idling stop system, the engine control computer contains incorrect software. As a result, engine output is not suppressed when the vehicle stability control system activates. Although brake force distribution control continues to operate, vehicle stability may be compromised. (Vehicle stability control detects lateral skidding and drive wheel spin, then automatically suppresses engine output and adjusts brake force distribution to improve stability and reduce wheel spin.)
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the engine control computer software is updated to the corrected/updated software.

状況
アイドリングストップ無車のエンジン制御コンピュータにおいて、プログラムが不適切なため、横滑り防止装置の作動時に、エンジン出力が抑制されない。そのため、ブレーキ制動力調整による制御は行うものの、走行安定性を損なうおそれがある。 横滑り防止装置：車両の横滑りや駆動輪の空転を検知し、エンジン出力抑制およびブレーキ制動力調整により、自動的に走行安定性の向上や駆動輪の空転の抑制を行なう装置。
改善措置
全車両、当該エンジン制御コンピュータを対策プログラムに修正する。
