Defect
In certain driver-side airbag inflators, the inflator housing may rupture due to excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. Fragments may scatter and injure vehicle occupants.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the driver-side airbag inflator is replaced with an alternative replacement unit in order of oldest model year first. Because sourcing the alternative replacement units requires additional time, as an interim measure until those parts are available, the affected inflators are replaced with new units of the current type.

状況

改善措置
