Defect
The power supply circuit provides insufficient protection against electrical noise. Noise generated by onboard electrical components may cause the power control unit to malfunction. As a result, the relay supplying power to the engine control computer and related units may fail to operate, causing the instrument panel to go dark and the engine to stall while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a noise filter to the power supply circuit.

状況
電源供給回路において、電気ノイズに対する保護が不十分なため、車両の電装部品から発生するノイズの影響により電源制御ユニットが誤作動することがある。そのため、エンジン制御コンピュータ等に電源を供給するリレーが作動せず、走行中にメータパネルが消灯し、エンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、電源供給回路にノイズフィルタを追加する。
