Defect
In the fuel tank, improper temperature control during the filler pipe welding process results in insufficient weld strength at the filler pipe joint. Continued use in this condition may cause the weld to detach and fuel to leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the fuel tank production lot. Where applicable, replace the complete fuel tank assembly with a conforming unit.

状況
燃料タンクにおいて、フィラーパイプの溶着工程の温度管理が不適切なため、フィラーパイプ部の溶着強度が不十分なものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該溶着部が剥がれ、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクの製造ロットを確認し、該当するものは、燃料タンク一式を良品と交換する。
