Defect
On large buses, the cover that houses the driver's seat belt retractor has a slit end that is improperly finished during manufacturing. Continued use may cause the seat belt to catch on the slit edge and become damaged.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the driver's seat belt cover. If the cover is found to be defective, replace it with a conforming cover. If the seat belt itself shows damage, replace it with a new one.

状況
大型バスの運転者席において、座席ベルトの巻取り器を格納するカバーのスリット端部の加工が不適切なものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、座席ベルトが当該スリット端部に引っ掛かり、損傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転者席座席ベルトのカバーを点検し、不良品と認められたものは良品のカバーに交換する。また、当該座席ベルトに損傷が認められたものは、新品に交換する。
