Defect
On emergency vehicles, the siren housing was manufactured without a drain hole, allowing water to accumulate inside the siren during driving through puddles or during washing. Continued use allows the accumulated water to reduce the siren's sound pressure level to below the threshold required by the Safety Standards.
Corrective action
Drill a drain hole in the bottom of the siren on all vehicles.

状況
緊急車両のサイレンにおいて、水抜き用の穴がなかったため、水溜り路の走行や洗車等によりサイレン内部に水が溜まることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、サイレンの音圧が低下して、保安基準を満たさなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、サイレンの下部に水抜き用の穴をあける。
