Defect
The front wheel speed sensors have insufficient waterproofing at the harness section, allowing water to enter the sensor interior. Water intrusion causes abnormal sensor output signals, resulting in illumination of the ABS warning light and other warning indicators, speedometer needle fluctuation, abnormal noise from ABS malfunction, and body shock from TCL malfunction. In the worst case, braking force may be reduced, or the vehicle may experience lateral drift during hard braking from high speed.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front wheel speed sensors with the corrected parts.

状況
フロント車輪速センサーにおいて、ハーネス部分の防水性能が不足しているため、センサー内部に水が浸入する場合がある。センサー内部に水が浸入すると、センサー出力信号に異常が発生し、ＡＢＳ警告灯等の点灯、速度計の針振れ、ＡＢＳ誤作動による異音やＴＣＬ誤作動による車体ショックが発生する場合があり、最悪の場合、制動力の低下、あるいは高速走行からの急制動時に車両横流れが発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フロント車輪速センサーを対策品に交換する。
