Defect
On the engines installed in medium-duty trucks, the clamp securing the fuel pipe between the supply pump and the fuel rail was omitted during assembly on some units. Engine vibration causes the unsecured pipe to develop a crack, which may result in a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect for the presence of the pipe clamp between the supply pump and the fuel rail. If the clamp is missing, replace the fuel pipe and secure it with the clamp.

状況
中型トラックに搭載された原動機において、サプライポンプとコモンレール間の燃料パイプを固定するクランプを付け忘れたものがある。そのため、エンジンの振動によりパイプに亀裂が発生し、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、サプライポンプとコモンレール間のパイプクランプの有無を確認し、クランプが取り付けられていない場合は、燃料パイプを交換し、クランプで固定する。
