Defect
On certain light trucks and buses, the connector geometry at the fuel filter outlet where the fuel tube attaches is incorrect. Continued use allows vibration during driving to dislodge the fuel tube, causing a fuel leak. This may result in an engine stall or prevent restart and, in the worst case, a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel filter head with a corrected part.

状況
小型トラック・バスの燃料フィルタと燃料チューブの接続部において、燃料フィルタ出口側の接続部形状が不適切なものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行時の振動によって燃料チューブが外れて燃料が漏れ、エンストを起こしたり、再始動ができなくなる他、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料フィルタヘッドを対策品に交換する。
