Defect
On the driver's door, the notch position used to attach the cable connecting the interior door handle to the door latch is improperly located. When the door handle is operated simultaneously with the door lock, the cable flexes and its end rides up out of the notch. This leaves the door latch in a half-latched state. If the automatic door lock then engages upon starting, or if the door is manually locked, the door may open.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the chassis number and replace the interior door handle assembly and door latch assembly with corrected parts, or replace the door latch assembly alone with a corrected part.

状況
運転席側ドアの車内側ドアハンドルとドアラッチにおいて、これらをつなぐケーブルを取付ける切り欠き位置が不適切なため、当該ドアハンドルによる開扉操作とドアロック操作を同時におこなうとケーブルがたわみ、ケーブル端部が切り欠きに乗り上げるものがある。そのため、ドアラッチが半掛かりとなり、発進直後のオートドアロック作動時や手動でのドアロック操作をおこなうと、ドアが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、車台番号を確認し、インサイドハンドル(車内側ドアハンドル)一式とドアラッチ一式を対策品と交換、又は、ドアラッチ一式を対策品と交換する。
