Defect
On the charge air intake duct, the weld attaching the boost pressure sensor bracket was improperly processed during manufacturing, resulting in insufficient weld strength. Continued use may cause the boost pressure sensor bracket to detach, preventing accurate boost pressure measurement and illuminating a warning lamp. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving and fail to restart.
Corrective action
Verify the manufacturing lot of the charge air intake duct on all vehicles. Where the vehicle is identified as affected, replace the charge air intake duct with a conforming part.

状況
(1)過給気導入ダクトにおいて、過給圧センサブラケット溶着部の加工が不適切なため、当該ブラケットの溶着強度が不足したものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、過給圧センサブラケットが剥離して過給圧が正しく測定されず、警告灯が点灯するおそれがあり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストし再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
(1)全車両、当該過給気導入ダクトの製造ロットを確認し、対象の場合は、当該過給気導入ダクトを良品と交換する。
