Defect
At the engine manufacturing plant, the electrical wiring for the air-fuel ratio sensor in the inspection equipment was improperly configured, which may have damaged the air-fuel ratio sensor on affected vehicles. As a result, the emissions control system may not function correctly, and carbon monoxide emissions may exceed the regulatory limit.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the air-fuel ratio sensor and replace any damaged sensor with a conforming part.

状況
排出ガス発散防止装置において、エンジン製作工場検査設備の空燃比センサ用電気配線が不適切なことにより、空燃比センサを損傷させたおそれがあり、当該車の排出ガス発散防止装置が確実に機能せず、一酸化炭素排出量が規制値を超えるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該空燃比センサを点検し、損傷しているものは良品と交換する。
