Defect
(2) On vehicles equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual transmission, the routing instructions for the electrical wiring at the second cross member during vehicle assembly are improper. The wiring may contact rotating components at the rear of the transmission. Continued use in this condition damages the wiring. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving with no possibility of restarting, or the brake lights may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
(2) On all vehicles, correct the electrical wiring routing to the proper path. If the wiring is damaged, repair it.

状況
(2)6速自動変速機搭載車および5速手動変速機搭載車において、車両組み立て時のセカンドクロスメンバ部の電気配線の配索経路の指示が不適切なため、当該電気配線が変速機後部の回転部に干渉するおそれがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該配線が損傷し、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストし再始動できなくなる、または、制動灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
(2)全車両、当該電気配線の配索経路を正規経路に修正する。また、電気配線が損傷している場合は、電気配線を修理する。
