Defect
On large trucks, the bracket securing the brake air tank has insufficient strength. Vehicle vibration may cause cracks to develop in the bracket. Continued use allows the bracket to fracture and, in the worst case, the air tank may detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the air tank bracket with the corrected part. Because parts procurement requires additional time, as an interim measure inspect the bracket and, if damage is found, add a reinforcement plate to repair it.

状況
大型トラックのブレーキ等のエアタンクにおいて、エアタンクブラケットの強度が不足しているため、車体振動等により当該ブラケットに亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エアタンクブラケットが折損し、最悪の場合、エアタンクが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エアタンクブラケットを対策品に交換する。なお、部品の準備に時間を要するため、暫定措置として当該ブラケットを点検し、損傷している場合は、補強プレートを追加し補修する。
