Defect

In the brake pipes between the master cylinder and the brake actuator, inadequate cleaning of the pipe interior during the manufacturing process has left foreign matter adhering inside some pipes. This foreign matter may migrate into the master cylinder and become lodged in the seal. If this occurs, brake pedal travel increases and braking force decreases.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the master cylinder and the affected brake pipes with new parts.

状況

ブレーキマスターシリンダとブレーキアクチュエータ間のブレーキ配管において、製造工程での配管内部の洗浄が不適切なものがあり、異物が付着しているものがある。そのため、異物がブレーキマスターシリンダ内に移動してシール部に噛み込み、ブレーキペダルを踏んだ際の踏み代が増加し、制動力が低下するおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、ブレーキマスターシリンダおよび当該ブレーキ配管を新品に交換する。
