Defect
The control software for the Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) system is incorrect. When a full-lock stationary steering input is followed by a rapid return of the steering wheel, the steering neutral position may temporarily shift significantly out of alignment.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the VGRS computer with a unit containing the corrected/updated software. Until replacement parts are available, owners are to be notified of precautions to observe while driving.

状況
ギヤ比可変ステアリングシステム（ＶＧＲＳ）の制御プログラムが不適切なため、通常の据え切り操作から急ハンドルのような素早い戻し操作をすると、一時的にハンドルの中立位置が大きくずれることがある。
改善措置
全車両、制御プログラムを修正したＶＧＲＳコンピュータと交換する。 なお、交換部品の準備が整うまでの間、運転時の注意事項を使用者に周知する。
