Defect
On vehicles equipped with an arm-type rear gate lifter, the spacer installed to lower the spare tire mounting height was improperly attached. Repeated driving vibration causes cracks to develop in the cross member. In the worst case, the cross member may fracture and separate from the vehicle.
Corrective action
Replace the cross member on all affected vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
アーム式のテールゲートリフタ装着車両において、スペアタイヤ取り付け高さを下げるために取り付けたスペーサの取り付け方法が不適切なため、走行振動の繰り返しによりクロスメンバに亀裂が入り、最悪の場合、破断して脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
当該車両のクロスメンバを対策品に交換する。
