Defect
The heat treatment applied to the propeller shaft spline yoke is incorrect, resulting in insufficient strength. Continued use may cause cracks to develop at that location. In the worst case, the propeller shaft may fracture, leaving the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the propeller shaft with a conforming part.

状況
プロペラシャフトのスプラインヨークの熱処理が不適切なため、強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該部位に亀裂が生じ、最悪の場合、プロペラシャフトが破損し、走行不能となるおれがある。
改善措置
全車両、プロペラシャフトを良品と交換する。
