Defect
At the fuel pump unit mounting area on the fuel tank, improper drilling during the manufacturing process has left sharp burrs at the mounting surface. Continued use allows these burrs to cause cracks in the mounting gasket and, in the worst case, fuel may leak from the gasket.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, rework the fuel pump unit mounting area and replace the gasket with a new part.

状況
燃料タンクの燃料ポンプユニットの取付け部において、穴あけ加工が不適切なため、取付け部に鋭利な突起を有するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該取付け部のパッキンに亀裂が発生し、最悪の場合、パッキンから燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該燃料ポンプユニットの取付け部を修正し、パッキンを新品と交換する。
